Recent Dreams

     With the support of his wonderful mother, John is a well mannered young man who is respected by his peers, is a hard worker and never stops smiling.  He chose a dream that focused on his career goals.  His dream was to meet a Disney Animator.  He traveled to California this past summer where he had the meeting of a lifetime.

     Unbeknownst to John was the fact that he was not only meeting a Disney Animator but he was meeting his favorite animator.  John wrote his feeling to Dream Come True in the form of a letter.

Dear Dream Come True,

Thank you for making my dream of meeting a Disney animator come true in the most fabulous way.  It was a thrill to tour Disney Animation Studios and to learn about how animated films are made.  This is something I have been interested in for a long time.

At the Disney Studios I got to have a private screening of the movie "Bolt" which is going to be released in a few months.  It was exciting being in the screening room and seeing parts of an unfinished version of a movie.

Without a doubt though, the best part was meeting Andreas Deja, a famous Disney animator whose work I have admired since I was a little kid.  When I heard that I was going to meet an actual Disney animator I never expected it to be someone at the level of Mr. Deja.  He spent a lot of time with me and answered my questions and told me about Disney animation.  He even drew a picture for me, signed it and gave it to me to keep.  The picture will always be a treasure to me.  I also had a wonderful time at Disneyland.  I especially enjoyed the Jungle Cruise and the Tiki Room.

When I got tired I was able to go back to the hotel to rest and then go back to the park after I rested.  At night I got to see the Fantasmic Show, which was my favorite thing at Disneyland.  Walking through Downtown Disney was fun too.  I have to mention how fantastic it was to have a limo ride to the airport and back home again.  It made me feel like a movie star or a big politician.

Thank you Dream Come True for all you did to make my amazing dream happen.  It is something I will remember forever, just as I will remember the kindness and generosity of Dream Come True.
