Dream Come True finished 2011 by fulfilling 27 dreams for our Dream Come True children. Our overall total since 1984 is 1029. Disneyworld continues to be the number one dream where most of the kids get to stay at Give Kids the World. However there were many unique dreams also such as a trip with to Denali National Park in Alaska, a trip to Las Vegas to meet UFC Fighters, Hawaii Cruise and more.

North Pole Express
December 17th Dream Come True, The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority and Allegiant Air will fly 75 of our Dream Come True children to the North Pole. The North Pole Express began six years ago where we literally fly our children to meet Santa. The children register with an ornament are guided to the ticket counter for their special boarding pass. Along the way they meet various costume characters. This year the Just Born Zours, Mike and Ike, Peanut Chew and the Peepster entertained along with a teddy bear, fairy princesses, Frosty, Gingerbread Man, Mufasu, Simba, Penguin, Tip the Crayon and Harry Potter. Each child stopped at 8 stations where they received a special gift. Allentown FOP, Homewood Suites, The Marine Corp, AAA of East Penn and Applebees man the stations and give each child a gift. The 9th station had Rudolph himself distribute blinking reindeer noses.
Liberty HS Bagpipers and the Bethlehem Catholic Chorale Group will entertain at the gate. After much anticipation we are in the air singing songs and telling stories. Once we arrived at the North Pole Santa and Mrs. Claus were waiting. After eating dinner the children seeSanta and Mrs. Claus and receive a gift bag. It takes many sponsors to make this event a success. Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority, AAA, FL Smidth, Rileigh's, Action Party Rentals, Applebees, Holiday Inn Conference Center, East Stroudsburg University, Just Born and more.
