Dream Events

Holiday Party:  Each Christmas season Dream Come True hosts a Holiday Party where dream recipients and their families come together for fellowship, share knowledge and give support to each other.  We offer a variety of activities and entertainment. Two special guests “Santa Claus” and “Mickey Mouse” share the day with us.  Santa arrives bearing gifts for all children.

Summer Picnic:  Dream children are invited each September to come together to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the annual Dream Come True Picnic.  The day offers great food and activities.  The children interact with our entertainers by singing and dancing with the performers called “Dream Kids”  Venture Farms provide horseback riding and children can play on the moon bounce or rides.  The Holiday Inn Fogelsville graciously donates the food and the facilities.  Libertee Miniature Golf offers all guests to play miniature golf as many times as they wish.  Popular among families the picnic gives our families the chance to relax and enjoy themselves among people who have experienced the same things.

Fishing:  Dream recipients are fortunate each year to have two Clubs in our area host fishing days for them.  Ranger Lake offers a fishing day in April and Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association offers one in May.  Both Clubs offer the children a day of fun fishing.  The Lakes are stocked and each child is presented with bait and fishing rod.  Volunteers help the children fish and clean those caught.  Trophies are awarded in various categories.  Each child earns a medal and goodie bag.  The children have a great day.  The volunteers bond with the children and provide them with fond memories.

Polar Express:  The Polar Express is our most popular event.  Partnering with the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority and Allegiant Air, we fly 75 of our dream recipients to the “North Pole”.  This is a real flight, we actually fly in the air.  Once they arrive at the “North Pole” they are greeted by Santa Claus where there is great food and gifts for all the children.  During the flight everyone sings songs and listens to Christmas stories.  As the children are flying to the “North Pole” the parents are sprinkled with “magic dust” where they are magically transported to meet the kids.  After an evening of fun, Santa sprinkles everyone with “magic dust” and everyone is back in Allentown, PA.  This event is truly a magical experience for the children and an experience each child should experience.
